THE MUST-SEES...
There's no need to introduce the Yves Saint Laurent fashion house and its jewelry! The hardest part isn't talking about them, but rather tracking them down, which can be a bit tricky given the ever-growing popularity of vintage YSL jewelry among collectors. So here's a lovely little selection of YSL jewelry—something to make you happy, I hope!
THE MUST-SEES...
I've been collecting vintage Dior perfume items from the 50s and 60s for a long time, so naturally I'm in love with jewelry from the same era... These pieces are becoming particularly sought after, but I'll try to find some for you... I'll also offer you more affordable, recent pieces!
So eighties! Jacky de G
Rediscover here a charming little French brand from the 80s/90s, bursting with energy and color, that rivals the big names of that era, but at more affordable prices. The brand is somewhat overlooked in France, but collectors worldwide have recognized its appeal and adore these colorful and stylish vintage jewels.
Our favorites: High-end costume jewelry from Kalinger
Let's discover, or rediscover, this brilliant designer from the early 90s, who made resin jewelry for Christian Lacroix and many others, but also had his own collections of high-end costume jewelry...
One of my favorites!
Discover: Henry jewelry
Little known to the general public, but highly prized by connoisseurs and collectors, Henry Perrichon was a Lyon-based jeweler specializing in the creation of bronze and Talosel jewelry for theater and film. His creations were celebrated by major fashion houses and worn by famous French and American actresses.
The great return of the baroque
Vintage baroque jewelry is making a strong comeback! Perfect timing, because it's one of our guilty pleasures! Let's not hesitate to collect and wear unsigned jewelry from the 80s and 90s with delight. It's often of very high quality and much more affordable! So, in this category, you'll find some lovely unsigned gems. As a reminder, we only like authentic pieces here, so we'll avoid the colored resin imitations that are currently flooding flea markets and online marketplaces...
Collectibles: Carven jewelry 💛
A must-have classic for lovers of vintage costume jewelry! I'm a big fan, aren't you? The House of Carven was founded in 1945 and quickly achieved great success, naturally expanding into the creation of perfumes and jewelry in the 1950s. The designs of these pieces are often abstract, featuring animals or flowers... a joy to collect! Traditionally handcrafted, they are made of plated metal and set with imitation gemstones, often cabochons, which we love! The pieces are often numbered and always signed. The elongated signature is preferred, as it's older than the round stamp.
THE EXTREMELY RARE
A new section on the site to showcase hidden gems, exquisite and rare jewelry, but sometimes with outrageous prices... When you love something, price is no object, as they say, and I experience that firsthand regularly! Attention all enthusiasts and collectors!
