His creations were celebrated by major fashion houses and worn by famous French and American actresses.

The House of Carven was founded in 1945 and quickly achieved great success, naturally expanding into the creation of perfumes and jewelry in the 1950s. The designs of these pieces are often abstract, featuring animals or flowers... a joy to collect! Traditionally handcrafted, they are made of plated metal and set with imitation gemstones, often cabochons, which we love! The pieces are often numbered and always signed. The elongated signature is preferred, as it's older than the round stamp.
